pot scar & pen-y-ghent

The view to Pen-y-ghent, one of the trio of hills that make up the Yorkshire Dales 'Three Peaks', framed here by twin Ash trees on Pot Scar. Another location I've returned to many times, not only for my own images, but also with workshop groups. The scar couldn't be any better situated, with views west to Ingleborough and east to Pen-y-ghent, this is a great location for landscape photography at any time of day, but especially sunrise or sunset. The valley gets the best of the nlight at either end of the day from spring onwards.
