A winter image of the distinctive red and white harbour light marking the entrance to Amble Harbour, Northumberland. Although the image looks quite calm with it's soft pink hues, it was taken near high tide, and the waves were threatening to swamp the lower walkway. It was also a good deal colder than it actually looks!
