Coastal Rainbow at Sandsend, Whitby, North Yorkshire

A bit of minimalist coastal landscape photography from the beach at Sandsend near Whitby, North Yorkshire. It's always nice when you get a bit of a lucky break. After a miserable, wet and cold day, things finally started to perk up around an hour before sunset. First the clouds partially broke and started to colour up, and then along came a rainbow. The next job was to find a suitably smooth, suitably large, polished pebble and voila. Well worth the wet feet!
